While these initiatives promote skills development, collaboration across industrial ecosystems remains limited. COMPLEMENTS addresses this gap by bringing together stakeholders from the aerospace, automotive, and digital sectors to foster cooperation and enable the transfer of knowledge and skills across traditionally siloed domains.

At its core, COMPLEMENTS focuses on strengthening Europe’s capacity to develop and deploy dual- use skills, such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and autonomous systems, that are relevant across both civil and defence contexts.
